Susan Perti

Susan Perti is a native of New England and a musical child prodigy. After relocating to the Philadelphia suburbs, Susan became active in the local community theater as well as in middle school plays. Susan was active in her drama and music programs at Ridley High School in Folsom, PA, after which she attended Penn State. There she pursued her passion for music while landing a prominent position as a pianist in a local restaurant/hotel.

Her first job after college was as a geriatric music specialist, working with the elderly to provide quality of life through music and memories. She then became the director of recreation therapy at various nursing homes and also taught music in local schools throughout the years. During this time she also excelled at her music career, including serving as one of the in-store pianists at Nordstrom King of Prussia; being on WWAC-53 TV in Atlantic City performing her original music; performing with the Marple Newtown Community and Merion concert bands as their vocalists; and most recently having one of her original works, a full length musical version of Cinderella, complete with original score, produced and put on at a local community theater in October 2013.

Susan has had a lot of joy performing weekly at retirement homes, weddings, etc. and continues to write her own music and create CDs of her work. Currently she enjoys performing (sometimes with clarinetist Matt Dunn), taking trips to the beach, photography, her family, and her pets.
